Thankful

We have so much to be thankful for this year. A sucessful move, new friends, a new baby (who is now sleeping through the night...only took 11 weeks) and many more blessings in between.

We started off the Thanksgiving season by going to a kids' concert in Aliso Viejo with our buddies Bobby and Jack. A singer from a local kid favorite band, Hulabaloo. Ethan had a great time listening and dancing and shaking the rattles. Eleanor ate the whole time. It was a first for me...I really never thought I would be sitting at something like that. Have to admit, I had a good time people watching!

We were able to squeeze in some "normal" things before the big feast! Thursday night dinner with 3/5 ladies, a couple jogs with Stroller Warriors, a Christmas craft event with the families of 3/5, lots of hanging out with our buddies Liam & Troy and Blake, and some private reading sessions.

Ms. Danielle came to watch Ethan while mommy went to dinner

Mother of the year again - leaving her coffee mug unattended. Thank goodness Ethan was not hurt!

A big stretch after a great run!

Beautiful family...minus 1  :-(

Crafts? You want me to sit still? I don't think so!

Putting together the family photo wreath. I'll finish mine sometime!

More Eleanor loving!

Though apart, the three of us back home were able to spend the day with some of the best company around. We had a great time celebrating with a few women from 3/5, two ladies from 2/1 and 2 Marines. There was WAY too much food. We certainly miss Daddy however a morning Skype session took the sting away just a little bit. It was so great to be able to see and talk with him. He looks and sounds great!

The week wrapped up with a HUGE Notre Dame win! We watched the game with our pals Liam, Troy, Bobby and Jack (and their mommies too), Ms. Danielle and Ms. Elena. Eleanor and Jack thought it would be cute to hold hands...I'm not sure this mommy likes this!!

We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Love,
Jen, Ethan and Eleanor (and Jon too)

  1. Cute pictures as always! Eleanor might have a thing for ginger men, (unlike me who has a thing for gingerbread men).
