This week Ethan had to say "see you later" to one of his best buddies. Sure, he doesn't quite get it. He still runs to her garage and says "uh oh" and waits around hoping that it opens. How do you try to explain to an almost 2 year old that she's not coming outside to play anymore? Thankfully he still has the attention span of a gnat and quickly runs on to his next object of his interest, however there is still a little tug on the heartstrings each time he stands next to that vacant house. Maybe this momma shed a few tears during their last hug, but I know that we will see each other again! There are never any "good-byes" in the military....just "see you laters!" We miss you, Elsbeth (Hank & Linda too)!! Look forward to seeing you again soon!!
