So, the goal was to have more than one update this month. Welp, that's didn't happen!
Here's our last month...in photos~
| We still love garbage Tuesdays!! |
| The best part: the recycling truck driver beeps the horn!! |
Friday night pizza treat (only because the calamari steaks weren't so great)
Watching the Polar Express |
On the 6th, the ladies and baby Reid spent the day out in Palm Desert. Aunt Meeee was competing in her first Half Ironman. Little lady did AWESOME!!! A super long day but super fun!
| Baby had to make the trek as well! |
| Coach!!! |
| Look at her go! |
| Pedal! Pedal! Pedal! |
Enjoying a quick little foot soak in the lake.
Almost looks like a catalog picture |
Kisses for the finisher!
Notice the dark color of El's pants and bottom of her shirt....
yes, she fell in! |
| You did so well, Aunt Meee! |
| Well done, Mash! |
December 11th - our very first school Christmas shindig! E's class is the youngest of the pre-schoolers and it showed! He did great standing 99% of the time and was "active." Sure, he didn't know all the words and was slightly late with the hand movements, but he was at least engaged. Jon was able to video the whole thing....I love watching the videos! I crack up every time!!
| I am the luckiest lady alive! |
Thankful for some truly amazing friends!!
You know...the kind that are like family! |
| Getting ready for the show! |
A little photo shoot after the program...
Yes, pretty much sums up the performance! |
A little fun in the sun before we get heavy into Christmas!
| Oh these two are just too much! |
The day of the Army/Navy game....E up and rode a pedal big. One push from Daddy and he was gone!
Tippy bikes (balance bike) are the way to go....and neighbors who let him ride their bikes with training wheels. His favorite was the Princess Sophia bike! |
El didn't want E to get all the attention!
Playing in the ONE puddle on our street. |
SANTA! Bubby, it's Santa!
Although I have no desire to sit on his lap! |
| E climbed right on up! |
We were able to get El in the photo.
HOORAY! |
Just a few days before Christmas, we had a special visitor to our house! Yeah, yeah, yeah...the grandparents were here. I'm talking about the big man himself! The kids went down for a nap on the 20th and woke up to a mound of gifts under the tree.
The yearly Hess truck!
2014....OFF. THE. CHAIN. |
I cannot get over Jon's reaction to E receiving "Planes: Fire & Rescue"
We've watched the movie a million times already!!
"Patch! Drop the needle!" |
| Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for the gifts |
| Uncle Whitey made it too! |
| Some family time hanging out at the Nellie Gail Ranch lights |
December 22nd....we make our way down to San Diego to check out the Navy/SDSU football game.
| Enjoying my snack on the USS Midway |
| Girl time! |
| Enjoying all the airplanes! |
The ONLY thing the kids cared about while on the flight deck.
The Navy pep rally certainly could not keep their attention....nor mine! |
Best idea ever! Hop onto one of the pedal cabs hanging outside the Midway.
For $10, we didn't have to walk back to the hotel and got to enjoy a fun little ride! |
| Great picture, Jon! |
| Enjoying some treats in the concierge lounge! |
| A morning run before the 6:30pm game! Such good running buddies! |
Trying to get the kids to look at the camera....
"Kids, look up" |
| Who says they don't listen? |
| E & El say "Go Navy!" |
| Enjoying the game with Uncle Whitey! |
Christmas has come!!! Photo onslaught!
| My two little cuties! |
| These next few are just so you can enjoy the sassy-ness that is El! |
| Jon - a little lower, please! |
| Man, those eyes just get me! |
| Such cute smiles! |
More Polar Express while we wait for the Prime Rib to cook.
Maybe next year we'll head out for Chinese food! |
| Two little kiddos excited to see if Santa visited! |
| Those eyes! |
| Pretty much obsessed! |
| She had some good lookin' hair Christmas morning! |
| Mommy....Daddy is taking sooooo long! |
| Mommy.....tools!!! |
El giving her best blue steel look!
Love this photo! |
E's school-made ornament!
BAH! TOO MUCH! |
| Two little people enjoying their new toys!! |
Christmas dinner was an easy-peasy make your own pizza night!
A night where new toys and tons of laughs were shared! |
No...that's not my daughter who is naked!
Merry Christmas!! |
Post Christmas awesomeness!
E & El decided they no longer wanted to ride in the stroller during Mommy's run....
Or mommy decided she didn't want to push them up another hill!
Either way, super cute! |
| E had to get his stretch on |
| El really wanted to run with Aunt Meeee! |
Another morning run = another morning snoozefest for little miss.
Fresh, chilly air & a blanket. The perfect recipe for a quick nap! |
Ringing in the New Year....east coast time! We hosted a 9pm New Year's party. Lots of little kids = no one
wants to can afford to stay out late. TONS of food (I'm an over planner), drinks, and laughs. We really are so blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives, especially since family is so far away!
A pre-party pic!
Why didn't my Christmas card photo turn out this good?!?! |
| Parents outnumbered a gagillion to one! |
I cannot believe this photo happened!
PERFECT! |
The other two doin' their own thing!
Sorry, Karisa! |
"Happy New Year everybody"
My little host in the making!! |
After a much needed rest day, we found ourselves wanting to do "something." A walk along the SC beach trail was the perfect way to burn off some of those calories!
| We're going on an adventure!! |
| These two littles pretty much ran & stopped & ran & stopped their way 1.2 miles to the SC pier. |
| Waiting for our Beachfire pizza! |
The walk back was a much different story.
E would walk a little but was shoulder carried the majority of the way.
El didn't know what she wanted. In the end, she just sat on the edge until Daddy went to save her! |
| She was done! |
2014 was a wonderful year for the Landers. Highs and lows just like anyone.
2015 brings much excitement & more adventures! I cannot wait to do it all!!
El wore her very first princess dress tonight, the 4th.
She says to "Let it go!" |
Wishing you & your family a very Happy New Year!
